There are few things as lovely as wisteria blooms gracing an arbor or trellis. Don’t worry; this American wisteria won’t become a nuisance, unlike other Chinese varieties that take over. It’s easy to grow, maintain, and train, making it perfect for beginners and experts alike!
Easily grown in average, medium to wet soils in full sun to part shade. Prefers part shade and consistently moist, acidic, sandy soils. Soils should not be allowed to dry out. Tolerates clay soils. Tolerates full shade. Promptly remove root suckers unless naturalized look is desired.  Foliage turns golden-yellow in the fall.
